Dear Sir,

We are using the PORT A as Peripharal i/o mode. The 20*4 Character LCD and other 4 latches are put on port A. and using the port pins of PB0,PB1,PB2,PB3 as clock signals to latch data on IC 74HC574D (sop) The mapping is also done properly for LCD and latch IC. The LCD is working properly we can read and write to the LCD.

when we select the latch we are getting a clock pulse of 150 ns but the data is not getting latched on the latch o/p.
Please let us know if any care has to be taken for this to solve the problem and how many such latches can be attached.
